When you’re inundated with as many requests as Andy to sing and support so many worthy causes, it’s almost impossible to decide which events to attend. That’s why everyone at ‘Andy Wilsher Sings’ decided that this year we would organise our own charity event to support an amazing organisation.
CRY – Cardiac Risk in the Young, is a charity that was founded in 1995 to raise awareness of conditions that can lead to sudden cardiac death in the young. Astonishingly, each week in the UK at least 12 young people die from undiagnosed heart conditions. CRY is an incredibly active charity and boasts some prestigious patrons and supporters, including John Barrowman, David Walliams, Sir Steve Redgrave CBE and Pixie Lott!
Our fundraising event was held at Witham Public Hall on Friday 17th May 2013. Attended by over 200 guests, Andy put on a fantastic show. Delivering the best hits from Robbie Williams and Michael Buble, accompanied by glamorous showgirls!
As ever, the feedback Andy received for his performances was emphatic….
