As the UK eases itself out of lockdown, the road ahead still looks a little uncertain. Many of us can’t wait to plan gatherings and parties to make up for the year we’ve all endured.
Plenty of people have been unable to celebrate big milestone birthdays, graduations, weddings, anniversaries and other special occasions due to the restrictions and may now want to plan those events in 2021. Others may still be feeling nervous about being amongst lots of people or gathering indoors when the time comes.
Andy Wilsher Sings has been keeping Essex entertained throughout lockdown, diversifying into surprise doorstep sing-o-gram performances and garden parties (when permitted). The sing-o-gram performances have been so well received that Andy will continue to offer these in the future. To be able to make someone smile on their lockdown birthday or just because they deserved a treat and needed cheering up has been a pleasure and an honour for Andy.
COVID has taken its toll on us all and to be able to offer some light relief, fun and happiness, all within the rules and completely safely, has been a great thing to do. It’s wonderful to see someone’s face light up when they realise that someone has taken the time to organise them a doorstep sing-o-gram, with carefully selected songs. We’ve found the neighbours seem to love it too!
So, as e hopefully return to ‘normal’ life once more, Andy will be available for all the usual weddings and events, but will continue to offer smaller, private performances too.
