Joint Parties – Share the Costs

Thinking about throwing a party but unsure if your budget can stretch to everything you’d like to include? Why not consider a joint party?

Joint parties are a great way to celebrate in style, but share the costs. If you have a friend or family member who would also like to celebrate a birthday or special occasion, why not club together and make it a party to remember?

It’s important to keep things fair, so ensure you communicate clearly during the planning process to avoid any hiccups or misunderstandings. It’s great if your guest list is 100% mutual but if you’re both inviting your own guests the split needs to be even and in line with the shared costs. Be mindful of arrangements such as free bars – you don’t want certain guests hogging the budget and tipping the scales in one direction. Consider a ticket system or limited bar budget to avoid any unfairness.

If you and your fellow party planner enjoy the same type of celebrations then food, music, entertainment, venue and decorations shouldn’t cause any issues.

By sharing the costs, you can often include more than you anticipated in your arrangements. You could consider adding some extra special touches such as professional dancing Show Girls or live entertainment to really impressive your party-goers!
