Dear Jackie and Andy,
On behalf of Witham Town Luncheon Club, I would like to thank you both so much for your support and generosity towards the lunch club.
Witham luncheon club meet 3 times a week. We are grant maintained and could not operate without fundraising or donations. We have over 80 members and we provide them with a freshly prepare hot meal and place to socialise. Our aim is to reduce isolation and improve metal health and wellbeing. Many of our members live alone and it is important to encourage them to socialise.
Over the last few years you have frequently donated raffle prizes allowing us to fundraise for the club.
We have held a few of our staff Christmas nights out at your December shows and all have had a brilliant night, but this year you offered us a fundraising concert.
You offered us an afternoon where you would entertain over 100 of our members completely free of charge on your end. We sold tickets and they sold out in days.
Due to the age of our members we provided them with an afternoon tea and Andy sang a huge selection of rat pack songs.
There were so many smiling happy faces, dancing and singing along with you we all had a fantastic afternoon.
We have sent you a massive thank you card signed by a few of our members.
We are truly grateful to you as with you donating the ticket and raffle sales to us it totalled £1128.00.
This is a huge amount of money to a small club like us. This will allow us to provide our members with many more hot meals in a warm friendly environment.
We can’t thank you enough for your generosity and the brilliant entertainment.
Thank you so so much.

The same goes for me, too, Andy and Jackie,
As chairman of WTLC and a councillor it’s the generosity of people which makes this town so fine. Thankyou very much. Karen did the organising with you and so mine is a back-up letter to her’s.
It was a wonderful tea party, one of our members came out of St George’s Nursing Home especially and although very weak, he told me he had eaten a lot and enjoyed the music too.
We could have another go next year as it was such a big success.
The Witham Luncheon Club is a charity local to Andy so he was really happy when they asked if he could perform at their afternoon charity tea party, The event, which was held at the Royal British Legion Hall in Witham, sold out in days so we had a full house (120 locals residents came to the event).
Witham Luncheon Club is a nonprofit organisation which relies on grants to be able to provide home cooked meals to senior citizens. They put on a stunning afternoon tea with sandwiches, cakes, tea, coffee and so much more. They also held a raffle between Andy's 2 sets of Rat Pack/Swing. All together they raised £1128.00 for the club.
As you can see everyone was swaying away in there seats, and the rest were dancing in the aisle. Can't wait to go back next year, we all had such a great time.
